Yesterday, Between Two Homes was presented at the PEN America World Voices Festival as part of the PEN America Scholars 2026 cohort.
Bringing this short play to life on stage was both grounding and affirming, a reminder of the power of story to hold memory, displacement, and survival in the same breath. I’m deeply grateful to the cast, creative team, and everyone who joined us in witnessing this work.
What began as a short play continues its journey. The full-length version of Between Two Homes will be published later this year.
